Originally from Bonnie Scotland where i grew up drinking Whisky playing Bagpipes wearing only kilts and eating the finest Haggis Neeps and Tatties whilst reciting The Great Rabbie Burns i then took up playing Bass and moved to London in search of work.

Whilst working for a cool band by the name of Morcheeba i fell for a fair maiden by the name of Skye and took her for my wife. For the past couple of years i have been playing Guitar and writing songs with my fair Maiden, the first being a song called Calling.

Skye's record is called Mind How You Go and we wrote and recorded it out in Los Angeles with the great Pat Leonard who has produced some wonderful records in his time. It was an incredible experience working with him. Along with some amazing musicians like Wendy Melvion of Wendy and Lisa Prince Fame (Amazing Guitarist) also i got to jam with Brian Mcloud on Drums which was awesome definitely one of the best drummers a bass player could sit behind.

We also recorded and wrote three songs with Daniel Lanois ( U2 Peter Gabriel Bob Dylan)one of them being the song on my page. It's called Here Is What Is. What you hear is a live take of Daniel on guitar me on bass and of course the delicious tones of Skye. The pedal steel was later over dubbed. Great experience and such a beautiful song. ENJOY!!

2009 Released Skye's 2nd solo album Keeping Secrets which we wrote together and was produced By Ivor Guest (Grace Jones) and Alexis Smith .

2010 Playing bass for Morcheeba for new album Blood Like Lemonade . Skye's first album in 7 years with the Godfrey Bros.
