Greg Johnson is a household name in his home country of New Zealand, where he has had multiple Gold selling albums on the EMI/Capitol Label. He has been based in Los Angeles since 2002.

A recipient of several New Zealand music awards including "Best Male Vocalist" and the prestigious APRA (Australasian ASCAP) Silver Scroll for songwriting he is best known for his long list of radio hits in NZ and his 2006 US radio Hit "Save Yourself".

His live performances have always been popular from intimate club shows to Opera Houses, Theatres and Arts Festivals where he has gained a reputation as a fine multi-instrumentalist and gifted raconteur.

Few musicians have endured, delivered and sustained a work ethic the way Greg Johnson has, a professional musician from age eighteen with an old-school songwriter approach and a fiercely independent style and philosophy. His eight solo albums (one every two years since 1992!) have produced 16 top 40 hits and have been placed in shows as diverse as "The Hills", "Aliens In America" and "Outrageous Fortune" to movies such as "50 Pills" "Entry Level" and in 2009 the Dustin Hoffman/ Emma Thompson drama "Last Chance Harvey". He has written for and with a number of other artists including Mozella, Greg Meyer and Boh Runga.

His new studio album "Secret Weapon" due November 2010 is underway in Los Angeles and will feature many of the musicians familiar to longtime fans, including Ted Brown, Wayne Bell, Sid Jordan, Simon Petty, Dave Goodison and others

Greg continues to tour and perform in the US, UK and New Zealand.
