GOMPA have recently returned to their cabin in Teynham after a strenuous & terradonian working holiday in southern Spain and Italy. One of the three batteristas was unfortunately harpooned to death by accident during a whaling competition. The rest of the band are now back on the road gigging and smoking a special blend of dried apple leaves and green tea.



Know this:



We are essentially dancing around in bliss and emptiness. However, we have now become aware of our dancing and of our space, and have thus created a separation between the two. Our feeling of 'I' has intensified and our separation from our space and all its objects has increased. We have made our self and our space solid entities, causing our dance to become stifled and hampered. In desperation, we collapsed into a coma.



Now, we have awoken with total amnesia. Having forgotten that we alone created the solid space in which we now live, we are completely bedazzled by it, believing it to be real and innately separate from our self.

So we have started seeking pleasure by clinging on to objects of attractiveness, avoiding objects of ugliness and ignoring objects of neutrality. We have started to think and philosophize about this solid space 'out there', developing sciences and religions to try to command, control, enhance or destroy it. But we are but sleeping fools believing in a dream; for this original space and joy. we have sprayed it, faked it, trying to love it.



It is time to absorb this illusion-like prison we have created, and begin to dance freely, with a blissful mind alone, in this vast, endless space of uncontaminated love and wisdom. Let's rock n' roll.
