Only the inimitable Robert Keeley could come up with Phil Spector's Wall Of Sound in a box. That is basically what the Gold Star is all about. Lo-fi verb with vibrato, flanging, compression and distortion. There are four knobs, two of them multi-function, with which to tweak your wall of sound into civility or psychedelic oblivion. You could conceivably use this pedal for drums, vocals... all sorts of stuff.

Robert has made a great demo video of the pedal in a band context. You can (and should) view it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6SxSm78fH8 . My demo is more of how-to and what-it-can-do kind of approach although Robert has pointed out that I didn't go into fully wet compression - something I will do in a future video.

Guys and gals, if you're into experimentation, the Spector sound, Go! Team and other coolness, you need to try this pedal. At the time of writing it on the Keeley site for $179.00. Considering its feature set and uniqueness, I think that's a steal.

Rock on.
