DESCRIPTION:
NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (An unissued 1966 Philles/Phi-Dan Records recording) - Found in Hollywood's Dore Records tape vault for some unknown reason, this Philles master laid down by an ensemble of L.A.'s 'Wrecking Crew' in April 1966 at Hollywood's Gold Star Studio, the working title was, 'My Chico'. Jerry Riopelle was the producer/arranger and a vocal track by Charlotte O'Hara who also recorded as Bonnie and the Treasures, Bonnie Graham and also as Bonnie was recorded but remains unreleased. (Cut at previous sessions in October 1965 were the tracks, 'Close Your Eyes' and 'My Love Keeps Growin' and in July 1965, 'Home Of The Brave'.) The Phil Spector 'Wall Of Sound' feel of the recording owes credit to the workings of the living and breathing Gold Star Studio echo chamber. Now, the question is, how did the tape of this abbreviated version of the track end up at Dore Records.......?
