The year is 1988 and at this time i was very heavily into my Hip-Hop, untill when one day my cousin from kent came down and told me of the new music called:



"RAVE"It totally changed my life and from there Hip-Hop was no longer the "In thing" for me at all!! I remember the days of White Gloves ,Whistle's and Horns just going out and having a good time and getting totally messed up. Anyway as i later came to relise the British Dance scene always moves forward and changes, so from "Rave" it became" Acid", "Jungle" and then "Drum and Bass" which is still going strong to date. during the Jungle period i started to listen to (what at the time was called) "House and Garage" this was around 1994 so from there I was introduced to a new sound 4/4 beat music and yes u guest it., I started getting into that type of muisc aswel!!



By this time i had bin mixing for about for about 2 years and thought to myself dat i wanted to make music so i went to college and studied how to engineer



Before all of this all took place i played on numerous pirate radio stations. The first station i ever played on was called " Influence F.M." way back in 1993, my mixing stills wern't the best but at that stage i had only bin mixing for about 6 months. From there i went onto "Lightnig F.M." where me (at the time my DJ name was Lion) Icon, Uncle B ,Mr Limes and Mc Froggy had a drive time show starting from around 3pm till 7pm. The show became a very well known show to people who loved Jungle, we later changed to playin House n Garage and that became another big show. The story contniues i went on to get a show alongs Mr Limes on a station called "Freak F.M." one of da biggest pirate radio stations on da F.M. bandwave at the time. At a later date we left that station to start what was to become one of da biggest station in South London, " Taste F.M.". This all came about because of the owner of Lightning F.M. had a friend who wanted to start up a pirate radio, which he put us in contact with. The first ever transmission was from one of our houses believe it or not, and from there Taste 92.5 FM was born!! On my journey i had made friends with alot of Dj's and Producer's, this was where i met Mr Danny Foster a big House and Garage Dj at the time playing on the same station as me, Taste FM. I later went onto playing on other radio stations ( this was due to the way the UK Garage sceen had changed ). I ended up playing US House for a bit but then found my love for UK Garage coming back.



I then met Ed through Danny Foster, he was a fellow engineer and in turn we built a good working friendship together we just both loved making music!!! We had done a few UK Garage mixes for people and found that we worked very well together. I later started up Chocolate Factory Records, when the lable we first started up we were putting out dark 4/4 beats but as we made our progression we realised that our sound was more soulful and as we could both play the piano (Basically), we started making a more soulful sounding music which to date is the Chocolate Factory Sound. Sorry to say it but me and Ed are no longer making music togehther. I still run Chocolate Factory Records where i continue to put out that Soulful Garage sound.



I do also make other music but thats another story
