The album was recorded in Duper Studio in their hometown Bergen and produced and mixed by goldenboy's very own guitarhero Jostein and goldenboy, except for their new single "pros & cons", which was mixed by Thom Flowers (Bad Astronaut, Lagwagon, Ataris, Sugarcult ++). The album was mastered in the Blasting Room by Jason Livermore and is expected to be released march/april 07. "healing is a team effort" is released on the dutch label squash records, and an extended version will be available in china this summer, through october party records.
goldenboy's debut album "right kind of wrong" was produced by Perry Leenhouts and Vincent Koreman of Travoltas. This 10 song album is the definite antithesis to the current new-metal/post hardcore/screaming emo-sound that dominates the scene nowadays. goldenboy is and has always been a LIVE band. Since the start in late'99, the band has been touring the US four times and Europe four times, in addition to a bunch of shows all over their home country, Norway.
