godWatt Redemption

GodWatt Redemption begin their activity in june 2006, when three friends, deeply moved by low tune and sulphureus notes, decide to "set up" a
hard rock-stoner/doom band.
The proposal came from the guitarist-singer Moris Fosco, pushed by the monolithic bass player Mauro Passeri. After having tested several musicians, they decided that it was better to carry on in 3 and recruited Andrea 'Junkie' Vozza on drums. From this moment on the band began its activity with summer intense jam sessions. There were ideas and the desire to perform and have an audience.
After several months of exhausting sessions, they recorded a 4 track demo-cd.
From now on, the band began its heavy live activity pressing down numerous stages of Italy, they took part
also at many important festivals in their own country sharing stages with amazing bands!
After the releases of the demo cd and a self-produced full lenght in winter of 2008 (The hard ride Od Mr. Slumber), the band starts is ready to rock again with their brand new "Rough Sessions", out on March the 3d (2012). After the release of it, an italian promotional tour will follow. Stay tuned!



I godWatt Redemption nascono nel giugno 2006 nella provincia frusinate dalla mente del chitarrista/cantante Moris Fosco e del bassista Mauro Passeri, spinti dalla passione per un heavy rock roccioso, "scuro" e semplice di matrice '70.
Dopo diverse prove con musicisti della zona, reclutano il furioso e giovane Andrea "Junkie" Vozza alla batteria, trovando stabilità, complicità e nuova ispirazione.
Dopo aver girato più o meno per l'Italia, suonato in importanti festival del settore e pubblicato un demo (s/t. 2007) e un disco autoprodotto ("The Hard Ride of Mr. Slumber, 2008), il 2012 vede la terza uscita ufficiale della band, "The Rough Sessions", preceduto dalla pubblicazione di un brano sulla compilation "Desert Sounds vol. IV" della webzine Perkele.it e dal videoclip di "Paths of Oblivion".
