David Carroll Bateman aka GOD ROCK DAVE originally from the Minneapolis, Minnesota area was brought up since he was a child to cherish Music and it was always obvious that Christian Rock Music especially had been a calling in his life. Bateman has been writing and singing Music for years without ever trying to break into the mainstream. With his band GOD ROCK. -------- As a teenager Dave sang and lead worship at Bible youth camps, Churches, and youth group events for Acts Alive Youth Ministries in Monticello Minnesota. He also lettered in Music in High School and received State and National awards in vocals competition during the 1980's. In 1995 and 1999 Bateman placed positions to the finals at the Minnesota State Fair Talent Contest both times singing original Music performing in front of an audience of 10,000 +---------- GOD ROCK DAVE has decided to begin to "Independently" release his compiled original collection of GOD ROCK MUSIC. DAVE Writes, Composes and Produces his Music from his home studio and is the founder of GOD ROCK MINISTRIES.
