WHO AM I: Gloria D Hawkins aka "Glo". I write songs about life and my life changes. Through words others try to express to their mate, friends,lovers, parents and children. Expressions of love, hate, betrayal, rebound, peace of mind, it's a journey and I am here to say it for you. I am blessed with a god given talent and without him I am nothing. I was married for 10 years. I have three wonderful children that have and continue to encourage me as well place their faith in me to one day touch many lives. They have been my motivation and inspiration throughout! Even though my marriage did not last through the test, trials, pain, and struggles. I have become a stronger woman. There has been many challanges in my life that I have overcome. My one goal in life is to touch as many lives as possible through out my life and career. I started singing in my home church, Resuce Temple II. as a member of the sunshine band at the age of 6. I have been singing since. I have always loved to sing and express myself in song to family and friends. There are no limits in life. Just reach for the stars! I would like to thank my parents for giving me life!
