The world of Act Like It started on the south east side of Chicago in the mind of it's CEO Jo Jo Capone. Once a direction was formed, the Artist followed.



Act Like It's first major project consisted of the group M.B.S. (Mind, Body, and Soul). M.B.S consisted of Cole Black-Mind, C-Note-Body, and Rello-Soul. These three put together a critically acclaimed album that saw collaborations with fellow Chicago artists Shawnna and Twista. Tragically members Cole Black and Rello, lost their lives to the streets, and never saw the fruits of their labor come into fruition. They live on through Act Like It, they are dearly missed and will never be forgotten.



Currently our act consists of the Global Gangsters, and future R&B sensations like Tera. We make the music that the streets want and the industry needs. Our Mixtapes can be found all over the world, we are Globally known and accepted.



Tomorrow is not just another day it is the Beginning of Act Like It domination. Time is of the essence, get ready because here we come, and If you don't know who we are when you see us in the streets you better "Act Like It!"

Nicole Smith was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a young as 12 years old she knew she always wanted to write stories to entertain people. Throughout her life she has worked in many job fields that she was not happy in. All she wanted to do was write, after pursuing her dream to write she sent her book to many people to land a book deal only to be denied. Feb 13 2009 she decided to give it one last try and contacted JoJo Capone of act like it entertainment with her dream to write. Less than one month JoJo secured her a book deal and the rest is history. Nicole is now a writer for Act Like It Entertainment and has written her first book. Nicole resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her family where she is working on her second book Evil Greed 2.
