GLASS DOLL BIO



GLASS DOLL was conceived by L.D. Catastrophe. The three-piece combines art-damaged rock with damaged art music, stories of self-doubt and horror with stories of self-pleasuring and glamour. You call it "WHAT?" We call it "The GLASS DOLL."



A little history. Drummer J-Lo joined the band at a CBGB's performance in 2006 headlined by Buffalo's very own The Rabies. No relation to the famous mujer con cadera cula , his rhythmic mastery is to the liking of nightclubbers, shoegazers, and waltzing ghosts alike. The final ingredient was added earlier this year when moonlighting vampire-violinist Sedge joined up, bringing her perfectly shaped f-holes and arsenal of pedals to the G*D. Now "the electric guitar," as the kids call it, is truly irrelevant.



Out of this heady brew, GLASS DOLL is born into this world--to paraphrase David Lynch--like a screaming mass of blood, meat, and hair. We are here to take you over, one glitterati and one guttersnipe at a time.
