Nathan Bufford better known as “Giti” is an American rapper that is seizing his opportunity to become a well-known artist in the music industry. Giti found his passion for music at age six and the young and talented artist began paving his road to success. “I have always enjoyed school and my parents are strict about my education, however I really became inspired by music during that school year. I used one of my school notebooks and started writing my first sixteens when I was six.” By the time he reached the age of ten he had recorded his first track called “Work it Out”.



Instead of rushing into the game to place his name, he gradually allowed himself to grow and become better at his craft. In his most recent interview with XXL magazine he stated, “The more I work on my craft and making hits back to back in this business the more success I will obtain as an artist in this business. All the while I’m more focused on putting my name out there as a brand rather than just an artist.” He learned how to brand by putting his name behind his own clothing line “Fresco Pastel” establishing a movement rather than just playing the role of a musician.



Now 18 and a senior in high school, Giti is rapping and running one of the only teenage businesses to go worldwide. Having positioned himself above and beyond his wildest dreams, Giti, today, finds himself relying more on making friends and connections in the “business” rather than enemies. He recently stirred up a storm with his singles “Go Hard” and “Rookie of the year.” In the summer of 2007 Giti teamed with Soundmind Entertainment’s Barma Shane Staten for management who then joined forces with Monique Mego and Anthony Bovell of Radio Music Group.



Giti is a laid back type of person who thrives on making good music for his fans. He is a dedicated, hardworking, talented young musician ready to be released into the limelight. The most intriguing thing to know about “Giti” is he started his own production team, CSI “Creative Sounds Inc.,” consisting of Preston “JustP” Smith who is a southern beat-monster, Phillip Coleman, better known as “Phillip P.,” and Keem “1600” Hall. CSI are a production team with serious swag and creativity. They recently completed work on a Plies project and are now working on Giti’s current project. At just 18, Giti has established a level of comfort and success for himself in his hometown of Carbondale, Illinois. Giti is accomplishing what artists before him have done and that’s building a brand as well as an empire and he is on track to becoming a “Rising Star”
