Biography of Gina Rene

Agent of Change, Peacekeeper, Inspirational Muse…

Gina Rene finds herself on a Divinely guided path of life-purpose,

where her gifts of creativity through musical expression and facilitating

sacred ceremony are beautifully aligning in connection with the greater

community. Her given name, Regina, means Queen; and, her last

name, Rene, means Reborn. True to her name, she is, indeed, a

Queen Reborn.

An exceptional artist and activist, Gina injects class, grit, and humor into her work both on and off

stage, with Truth being her constant theme. You can hear the passion in her voice and feel her joy

when she takes the stage. Through honest and visceral storytelling, she recounts her journeys in urban

America. Once homeless, she’s seen the ups and downs of struggle first hand, and seamlessly blends

her past experiences into a listener’s delight. People cannot help but to respond to her journey from

pain to spiritual healing. In addition to helping uplift the consciousness across the planet, she’s a role

model for all females, and founder of the movement, IAMYOMAMA, that dares to break stereotypes of

the past, while inspiring a worldwide emergence of healthy and powerful women and men to be

embraced and embodied by future generations.

Ms. Rene noticed that a majority of today’s media (t.v. & radio) broadcast themes and images often

contrary to that which supports Life and is solution-oriented. As a result, she envisioned and created

WeAreTheChange.US, “the emerging change agency and ‘hub’ for progressive global community

intended to unify peacekeepers, artists, and various individuals and organizations to more effectively

deliver sustainable information, via the arts and new media, to the greater public arena.” Her most

recent single, “Be The Change”, which features Michael Beckwith (The Secret/Agape International

Spiritual Director), was considered for a Grammy in 2008, and was also the Earth Hour L.A. theme

song the same year. This single is an example of the kind of creative work to be expected from ‘the

hub’.

Gina utilizes her skills as a ‘vocal expressionist’, singer, and songwriter to share stories of personal trial and testimony, to not only personally experience greater fulfillment, but also to uplift and empower

those around her to more fully embrace their own unique gifts of expression. “After all”, she states, “It

is our birthright to be fully expressed and to share this joy with others.”
