New Music Review:
Gina Morresi and the Bella Coola Band welcome you as they perform songs
off Morresi's newest CD, "Secret Diaries".
Morresi's strong song writing evokes the spirit of a true Bohemian Rocker
Chic. She is the real deal and her music possess' an urban edge that makes
one want to live out their inner-most rock star fantasies and binge drink,
collect groupies, and rock out!
Songs like "Everything", "Put Me Together", "Home", "One of Those Things"
and "Making No Plans" -highlight Morresi's lyrical ability to tackle
serious material with a refreshing optimism and empowering sense of humor.
The music is surprisingly eclectic, deceptively simple and extremely
catchy: from pop, rock, metal, smooth beatnik jazz and alt country vibes
there's a little something for everyone.
Morresi herself exudes a unique sexiness. Her striking, exotic beauty is
complimented by her engaging and intoxicating, playful girl-next-door
personality. Careful she will steal your heart!
Up to the task and creating the music with Morresi is the Bella Coola Band
featuring:
Jeff "Big Poppa" Trenholm - A master on the drums and percussion,
peering from behind his kit with an impish grin and boyish good looks!
Eddie "Rocco" Rossman-The "brown-eyed handsome man" whose casually
brilliant guitar playing covers a dizzying array of styles. Well worth the
price of admission for both!
Rebeca "Boots" Qualls-Thunderous, hard driving, virtuoso bass, commanding
keyboard and button cute. What's not to like with this one?!?
If you love music this is a well spent evening out. These kids can make
music!
