Born Summer 0f 1982, it is obvious that with greats like Roy Ayers and Gladys Knight in his family history, GNome has music in his veins. More than music he has ambition and a business sense about him that pushes him to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. With the talent that he displays it would only seem that he moonlights as an emcee, as he is also proficient in poetry, spoken word, sound engineering, and producing. Born and raised in SoCal GeNome follows the trend of emcees from the area in the likes of Ras Kass and Bishop Lamont in that his music combines style and substance with ought style overpowering what it is he is lyrically focused on. Though also growing up in San Diego he has seen many different sides to what the world has to offer. So through pure lyricism and wit Nome takes the listener through a wild ride of his life experiences and lyricism as well as penning what he envisions of this microcosm we call life.
