I'm a 19-year-old Rapper, Music Producer, Vocalist, Journalist, Director, Graphic Designer and Student from east London.
I first took an interest in music in 2003, at the age of 12, writing raps and playing Drums.
In 2004, I picked up keys and started performing at various events and concerts. I also started to get into web/graphic design, and started developing and designing web pages for myself and a number of local artists.
The following year, I started to take music production more seriously, and focussed my energy towards that.
By 2006, I was actively recording and releasing material online whilst building a following for my music.
I had my first video aired on Sky's Channel U in 2007, at the age of 15. The video was shot, directed and edited by myself. The track was also produced by myself. By this time, I had been offering web/graphic design and video services as a sideline venture.
Another video that was shot, edited, directed, produced by myself was aired on Channel U the following year. During the same year, I started receiving heavy rotation on radio stations such as Club Asia and the BBCs Asian Network.
I continued pursuing music in 2009, collaborating with a number of artists within the UK scene. I've worked with artists such as Nsane, Nayta, MiniSparks, Kan D Man, Blitzin Barz, DNA, DJ Breeza, Barney, Bluetooth, J Tena, SH, Rapyd, Alfa Mist and Opium. During the same year, I started at Brunel University, taking a degree in Journalism.
In 2010, I've started to put Journalism at the forefront of what I do. I manage my own blog (www.AJNairOnline.wordpress.com) and work for Live East magazine. 2010 also saw the release of my studio mixtape 'Studio Time vol.1' as a free download. It showcases all of the talent I've recorded as a studio engineer.
I have opened many doors thus far, but I'm not sure which door I'll walk through. But I'll keep u posted
