Hip-hop is notorious for bad boys. It seems like the more gangsta the rapper, the more street-laced his rhymes are. Bruze Kensington is ready to prove that his street side is as fascinating and entertaining as his intellectual side. The 29 year-old Midwest MC was born in Dayton, OH on October 31, 1979. Bruze was raised in the inner city neighborhoods of College Hill, Dayton View, Five Oaks, GVC, and North Land. He grew up dealing with the struggles directly related to the poverty, violence and crime that surrounded him and threatened to swallow him whole, but with great perseverance and strong family support Bruze was able to overcome and eventually graduate both high school and college.



Kensington took the experience of his growing pains and began forming lyrics as early at seven years old. Performing in everything from charity events to talent showcases. His fascinating free-style ability has earned him both honor and respect among his peers from the Midwest to the Dirty South.



Bruze (pronounced bruise) represents his life growing up in the notorious inner-city communities of the Mid-west known for drugs and gun-play and Kensington (taken from the name of the street he grew up on and the name of an educational institution) represents his intellectual side. As a college graduate and reformed street thug, BK has found the key to merging these two sides and forming the dynamic duo that will catapult his career and his music to limitless possibilities



In 2003, Bruze released a street album called Come and Ball with me/ Let's get it krackin' which created a huge buzz in the underground. In 2005, Bruze Kensington became the first artist signed to Gem City Giant Entertainment, an independent label BK started to launch his career as an artist as well as an executive with the independent release of Gem City Giant. This release moved more than10,000 units.



Bruze already has signed 5 artist that he is working tirelessly to promote, shape and advance their careers while simultaneously working to establish himself
