Garry Goodman is an international recording artist. His latest CD
release, "Tap Dance On A Cloud,"
with guitarist David Nielsen debuted at number 6 on New Age
Reporter.com's Top 100 charts in March
2005. It remained in the top 10 for three months and in the top 100 for
6 months, making them
number 15 on the 2005 New Age Reporter Top 100 chart. The
Nielsen-Goodman Project was nominated
for Best New Artist in the New Age Reporter 2005 Lifestyle Awards. "Tap
Dance On A Cloud" has been
added to 200 radio stations worldwide. This CD features Garry's unique
sound, Percussive
Harmonics, an organized system of playing all notes in harmonics. Garry
plays all styles of music
from Rock to Samba to Jazz. As a professional union bassist, over the
past four decades he has
performed in all types of venues (concerts, conventions, musical
theater, night clubs and show
rooms, cruise ships-even the Barnum Circus). He is a strong lead
vocalist and sings a variety of
songs. Garry is a composer, producer and session musician with hundreds
of union jingle, film, TV,
etc. recording sessions to his credit. Garry conceived of the 7- and
single course 12-string bass
guitars. His 7-string bass was the first bass guitar to go beyond 6 single course
strings. His 12-string has the
widest sonic range of any guitar, with a span of 8 octaves. Garry is
also the first 11-string bass
guitarist and pioneered 9 and 10 strings tuned in 4ths. For a list of the radio stations that have added "Tap Dance

samples: Check out Garry's
amazing all-harmonic 32nd note passages in the bass solo from "
Haleakala" (about 2:17 minutes
into the track) played on his Tobias 7-string bass guitar. Can you hear
the low C sharp 17 hertz note played on his 11-string Adler at the end of "Bubble Work"?
