Gangsta Colony

Gangsta Colony is a group of rappers,Djs and a singer all originally from Jamaica. Our music captures the sounds of dancehall, reggae, hip-hop, R&B but always comes from a uniquely jamaican perspective and always retains di 'yaad' element. Our writing and production is self done, and our members hail from different communities across Jamaica. From St. Mary to Spanish Town, to Negril and others. We hope to put Jamaica on the map again, by making music on an internationally acceptable scale.an show dem seh a yaad man lock it from dem time deh!! We belong to a larger division called 13th tribe, which has been a steady force in the mostly unrecognised movement of hip-hop in Jamaica. We have been making a host of underground songs and are now geared towards recording our album. In the mean time we should have couple mixtapes in circulation and should be releasing a single soon.
