King-Pin Bio

A man of many names: Father, Son, Brother, Friend, Entrepreneur and the list goes on,

but in 2008 a new name was added to the list, “Force to be Reckoned With!”

A true South Georgia native King-Pin (born Michael Fields) first hit the music scene in

1997, when he began rapping in local talent shows in and around the Atlanta area.

However, feeling the need to expand on his audience and reach out to show some true

Southern hospitality, he began venturing off to the neighboring Southern states and was

quickly welcomed in North & South Carolina, Florida, and

Alabama. Being known for being quick to demolish the

microphone, King-Pin set out to make a name for himself.

Not setting out to initially look for a record deal, but using

the art of rap to vent his feelings and frustrations, while also

sharing his life and views of society. Grinding and working

hard with his partners in crime has remained his main focus.

Committed and focused, King-Pin’s persistence has led

him to perform along side of a number of phenomenal

rappers: Lil Boosie, Crime Mob, Yola and Cash Camp just to

name a few.

In late 2007, King-Pin’s persistence paid off in a major way

when he grabbed the attention of the World Famous Super

Friends as well as the Gate Keepers. Then in 2008, all the

hard work and late nights paid off, when King-Pin received

an invitation to tour on the G-Unit “Get Plugged Tour” and has now worked a major deal

with Slip-n-Slide Records for ring tone distribution with all major carriers. King-Pin is

scheduled to release new singles “We Represent” & “Throw It Up” featuring Pastor Troy as

well as “Getting to the Money” with Lil Boosie with production beats from Beat Bangers &

SlumSouf Productions.

With just five months into 2008, King-Pin has

already commanded the attention of the Music

Industry heavy hitters. King-Pin along with his

long time business partners of SlumSouf, has

started his own label “Double Vision Music

Group.” Keep your eyes open for the debut

album.
