Many users of Vienna Symphonic Library products enjoy a successful career as film composers, orchestrators, and conductors. In our Studio Chats interview series we present extraordinary artists sharing their individual approaches to writing and orchestrating music for film and television.

After studying with Henri Dutilleux in Paris, Oscar and Grammy Award winning composer Gabriel Yared collaborated with various French artists such as Charles Aznavour, Françoise Hardy and Mireille Mathieu, writing over 3,000 songs and arrangements. His film and TV credits include over 100 scores for, e.g., The English Patient, Message in a Bottle, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky.
