Biography:
Fu-Rakk was born in 1985 in Miskolc, Hungary. Music always played an important role in his life, it defined his mind. He gets to know hip-hop when he is 12 years old, and in the next few years he gets in touch with electronic music too. He is 14, when he starts break dancing, and by the means of it, he fall in love with funk, soul, jazz and break beat. He starts producing music in 2001. He is interested in many styles: drum and bass, break beat, ambient, trip-hop and hip-hop. Presently he stands on the way of trip-hop, down tempo, Hungarian-, Gypsy- and Indian folk. The other line, which also features his taste is electronic styles of music, especially electro, new rave, house and dub step. He is a co-producer on several albums, and has 4 personal albums too. Many tracks were taped with Audrey Rapburn, one of those remixes got on an international album. Several radios played his tracks in England and in Hungary (Campus Radio, Radiocafé, Tilos) as well. In his homeland he made official remixes for numerous front-rank musicians: for example for the band Magashegyi Underground – on the album “Szívtakarítás” (between Vono Box, Tits and Clits), and for vocalist Zsuzsa Varga– on the album “Barkácsklub lányoknak” (between Krizsó from Realistic Crew, Fine Cut Bodies, Tommy Brutkho, Stereo Killaz).
On the whole he is interested in mixing music from the year 2002. After first coming before audience with a DJ-set in 2004, he immediately founds cordiality. Since then he plays regularly throughout the country in smaller and larger parties and festivals. In 2005 he is a resident in one of the best clubs of Eger, and in 2007 he is a resident in Miskolc and in Kazincbarcika as well. In 2009 he was the DJ on Red Bull Street Style Freestyle Football Champion’s event in Budapest. Initially he bought dancehall and reggae vinyls, nowadays he buys and plays funk, soul, electro, hip-hop and dub step vinyls right on.
