US Funk Team

US Funk Team was a band formed by Jason Trzaska, Matt Bergman (Tank) and Jeremy Gecker. They released a number of demos and played hundreds of shows across the country, sharing stages with bands such as OK GO, Harvey Danger, Circa Survive, Hail Social, Travis Morrison(dismemberment plan) along with 1000's of others. The band built a sexy reputation and following from their catchy tunes, high energy live shows, and and crazy stage antics. In 2007, the band went on a hiatus to pursue other projects and attempt to answer all that Japanese fanmail The band inspired many people throughout the years including the band algernon cadwallader, who used the chorus of the funk team song " you're the worst" as the chorus of their "some kind of algernon" song.
