Funk Life is a consumate producer and talent developer. Coming from an entertainment-based background I have worked with some of the industry's biggest artist and top studios on both coasts. My Game Ova 2 video achieved international status as the underground video of the year. It was the Number One most downloaded video in Paris in 2005 and played this country on the QD-III dvd series "Beef", which aired on BET numerous times. Funk-Life has the know-how to break through project design limits and open minds to fresh new ideas and technological approaches. My depth of professional assurance and expertise inspires artistic talent and techs and has enabled me to build a tremendous track record of high quality creative contributions from concept through completion of projects in the broadcast and music industries. I have 16 + years experience in production, direction, editing, design, and finishing within multiple media, including Film, TV, HIDef, and Music. As a producer and director on the cutting edge of audio and video digital technology, Funk Life is widely respected for tailoring video and audio products for use in theatrical, broadcast, music video, and premiere sporting events in basketball, football, hockey, baseball, soccer, grand prix equestrian competitions and many projects for ESPN, NBC, COMCAST, TNT and others. Since the debut of my own album in 1991, Funk Life has worked with Rap A Lot, Scarface, Too Short, Yukmouth, C-BO, Allen Anthony, Rickey Waters, Tone Capone, One Drop Scott, Mike Dean, and a wide range of established and emerging artists in cities such as Oakland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Cleveland, Houston, Seattle, Pittsburg, Detroit, St. Louis, Akron, Atlanta, Florida, Philladelphia, Baltimore, and DC. In 2002 my work with Scarface and Too Short inspired me to return to school at George Washington University to expand my technical expertise in engineering and film studies. Funk Life has decades of work first as an assistant producer with Tone Capone and later producer and engineer at numerous studios, including West Coast Mafia, Virgin Records, and many independent productions. I was responsible for vocals on many different albums, including Enemy of the State with C-Bo, and productions with many others like Seagram Miller, 3 x's Krazy, and more. Funk Life is an individual with a futuristic view of the music industry. My technical work includes recording, general engineering, master mixing, and vocal coaching and artistic development for various recording projects, for example I have garnered nationwide respect for my unique flair in guiding and developing new artistic talent. My ear for music is impeccable. My expertise expanding on the stream of references in songs and stylistic elements uses new media technologies to create visual solutions for clients, an am respected by recording and broadcast studios, musicians, and artist across the country.
