Funeral March was founded in 2003 by four guys in a small town close to the Ruhr-Area. Influenced by old punk and hardcore bands like T.S.O.L, Adolescents and circle jerks the band played several local shows.
They recorded their first 8-song demo in spring of 2004 right before they moved to dortmund with a couple of new songs and a new drummer.
2005 they released their first E.P. With 8 songs on no solution records, touring with dumbell in 2006 through poland, austria and of course germany and played lots of solitary gigs almost every weekend.
Since today they shared the stage with bands like SNFU,DOA,Reagan Youth, total chaos, gang green, hard ons, the avengers,Agent Orange agnostic front, the adolescents and many more.
Meanwhile they released a split 12“ with their mates radio dead ones from berlin on wanda records, true rebel and no solution records and hit the roads Germany, Netherlands, Balgium, France, UK, Austria, Chech Republik and Poland.
In july of 2008 guitarplayer schulz left the band and was replaced by marc de burgh from 2nd district.
At the moment the boys are working on new songs in order to record some new shit you can expect in 2009
