An internationally touring artist, with a rapidly growing strong internet following, Noush has shared billing with acts such as TV On The Radio, Cold War Kids, REM, and the Stone Temple Pilots, Skaugen toured the US for the last two years, with TV appearances and radio interviews, throughout the West Coast, from Los Angeles to Nashville, Austin to Cincinatti, to the Southern cities of Starkville, Atlanta and New Orleans.

No.1 Independent artist and No.25 on the Twitter Music Charts with the big boys (wefollow.com), Noush has squeezed in two albums and will release a third this spring. No serendipity for her, as a classically trained musician and songwriter, her audiences have delighted in her grounded and authentic style, her charisma and her electricity on stage. Skaugen's international background and multi-lingual ability, gives her the medium to connect with the world on a personal level.

Storytown Entertainment, Noush's independent imprint, released her debut album, Lost and Found, in 2008, from which she has enjoyed a steady stream of sales in the US, UK & Europe. Her award-winning music and videos have become top picks and featured on AOL.com, CMJ, XM Radio and iTunes. Noush, who NME described as "Angst-driven girly power balladeering", is one of the Top 20 Unsigned acts of 2008 according to Unsigned The Magazine.

In 2007 Skaugen both performed and was recognised for her talent by two of the most prestigious Independent Award Shows in the US. She was awarded Alternative Pop Artist of The Year at The Los Angeles Music Awards, and National Independent Rock EP of The Year at The Hollywood F.A.M.E. Awards.

Her Debut EP Palomino and her current LP Lost and Found, play in regular rotation on both XM and Sirius satellite radio nationwide, and worldwide internet radio. The single Adeline is tearing it up at college, Triple A and specialty radio across the country.

Skaugen has scored an International Podplay Top Ten Hit, a featured live in-studio performance at LA's Top 40 station KIIS FM, and gained much praise in the National and International Press.

Skaugen songs have been placed in major studio feature films, including the Soundtrack to 'Road Trip 2: Beer Pong', and no less than eight network-sized television placement licenses, including MTV (Road Rules, The Real World, Road Rules Challenge, The Hills, The City, Human Giant, My Super Sweet Sixteen), The History Channel, American Psychic Challenge (Lifetime) and Oxygen Network (Bad Girls Club). The relative ease in which her music has been placed is a reflection of Noush’s adaptive songwriting style and compatibility with today’s leading pop-culture entertainment.
