Fromheadtotoe

se formaron a finales de 1995, después de que Rafael Molina

y Raquel Pascual dejaran Childhood, un grupo

de la escena hardcore barcelonesa. Con B-Core editan su primer maxi de presentación

Insight; en estos primeros temas demostraron su capacidad

para combinar una gran sensibilidad melódica con la fuerza del post-hardcore.

Le siguió Bomb, adelanto de lo que sería

su largo de debut Divine, primer LP del grupo que

fue grabado por Xavi Navarro en el año 1997

y fue lo último que sacaron en Bcore. Después de ganar el prestigioso

concurso de Rock Villa de Bilbao en 1998, fichan con Subterfuge y editan en

1999 I'm the Fuel, al que le sigue Fromheadtotoe,

último trabajo editado de la banda.

Fromheadtotoe

se ganó justa reputación de banda con un directo demoledor

gracias a sus incesantes giras por salas y festivales de toda España;

además de telonear a bandas internacionales como Descendents,

Echobelly o Foo Fighters y ser escogidos en

publicaciones especializadas como mejor directo en innumerables ocasiones. Registraron

un concierto para la Radio 1 de la BBC inglesa y visitaron festivales en Alemania,

Francia y Portugal.



Fromheadtotoe

formed by the end of 1995, after Rafael Molina and Raquel

Pascual left Childhood, a seminal band in the Spanish

hardcore scene. Their debut maxi-single Insight was released

under label B-Core, these first songs displaying their ability to blend a wonderful

melodic sensitivity with the rage of post-hardcore. Bomb followed

on the same year, as an advance of what was their first long-play Divine,

recorded by Xavi Navarro in 1997, and their last work for Bcore.

Winners of the reputed rock music contest Villa de Bilbao in 1998 they signed

with Subterfuge Records and released I'm the Fuel on 1999, which

was followed by self-titled Fromheadtotoe, their last recording.

Fromheadtotoe earned a well-deserved reputation as an overwhelming

live act thanks to their non-stop touring, both in clubs across the country and

on almost every other large festival in Spain; they also opened for international

bands such as the Descendents, Echobelly or

the Foo Fighters - all in all leading to being voted as "best

live act" on countless occasions by the musical press. They also recorded

a show for BBC's Radio 1 and attended festivals in Germany, France and Portugal.
