we are fridaynight barfight and we re gonna kick your lazy arses !

back from the dead this five-piece Limbabwe band from the infamous 3900 area will raise hell, drink you under the tables and shall always remain doing what we do best, creating a noise that will make yer ears bleed

the band originally was founded in november 2005. Their first public was at the same kinda venue where millions of people believe their fucking messiah was born. (in de stal bij stappers)

the classic line up was

Kurt on vocals , Mo on Bass, Steven on rythm guitar, Niek on lead guitar and Timothy on drums. A special thanx also goes out to Bert, drummer from koncept for being crazy enough to help us out on our two first shows. In this line up they ve done over thirty shows with various bands like usual suspects (chekc their latest album!) / kezus krijst (great band from holland also check their new cd) / our brothers from the far west in Unarmed Riot / Vals (probably the best dutch band ever) / PAWNS (gotta catch em live)/ mutual aid.

and of course we ve done many shows with other great 3900 area based bands/friends in Koncept / axxident / havoc / the filth / reproach / x-press / delirium . so a big thanx to those guys for havin us around so many times in the past. We ld also like to mention some new limbabwe bands like fahrenheit fm (feat hilde ex singer of the rabbits, the old band of Niek) / arty farty beat up party (side project feat members of customized / x-press / fridaynight barfight and axxident) / x24 ways to sayx (moshvalley's future kings haha) / la strada (genkstah cité core ) / violation 13 (yeah still alive and even working on a debut album) / raise the flag (limbabwes youngest punx?) / the backbones (saying fbf is an inspiration, you oughta have the guts! lol) and probably we ve mentioned lotsa other great bands not on this page shame on us!

But back to the story of fbf, due to too much tension in the band in the summer of 2007. Fridaynight barfight decides to move on without Kurt and niek did the vocals from that moment on. They ve played farmfest and some 6 other shows or so but in oktober they decided to call it a day.

Kurt in that time was playing with arty farty beat up party but missed the old band a lot. And although some nasty stuff has been said and rumours start to live their own life four of the five original bandmembers cam back together (mo/timo/niek/kurt) Steven was missing due to lack of time. fridaynight barfight wishes to thank him for being an important part of the fbf story so far, each week coming from st job to rehearse in sun city! well most of you fools wouldn't do that. so once again, thanx.

his replacement was found in the person of Vince who kurt knew from his other arty farty and his bass playing skills in x-press. vince is the youngest member of fbf and with him on board fbf is ready to strike back even more pissed off than before, prepare for war!
