Coming out the streets of San Diego; BlackLight Ink exploded onto the Hip Hop scene in 2008, with theie hit single "What Do You Say". On their Album/Mixtape Product of the Street, a mix of uniquely insightful flows. Combined with variety of beats that are destined to be the next nostalgic Club/Street Bangers. With tracks like "What Do You Say" that stand out to the listener; do not be surprised to find BlackLight Ink topping the Rap/Hip Hop charts in the near future. With their motivation and drive for music, BlackLight Ink overcame the hardships of their Urban youth surroundings, and made sure to make a sound that would stand out from the crowd.

BlackLight Ink dedicates the majority of their time to: Producing and Recording their music, Networking & Collaborating with friends and Recording Agents. BlackLight Ink originally consisted of 4 main group members: FreeMind, Blessed, KrayzieLay,and Lady D; which would later become "BlackLight Ink". Their performances have yielded great turnouts by locals, and has had multiple appearances at the Dream Street and Copa Cabanna. Local shows at Lao New Years and Thai new years event, Sports Bars and Grills, schools and many local talent events.
