ITA - Dissacratori del pop, eroi del videoclip parodia, sbeffeggiatori di tormentoni, taroccatori sanremesi: il percorso artistico dei torinesi Fratelli Sberlicchio è da sempre votato all’ironia e all’irriverenza.
Caratteristica peculiare della band è la fulmineità della relizzazione delle proprie parodie, lanciate spesso quasi in contemporanea con l’uscita dei brani presi di mira dal gruppo ed accompagnate di consueto dalla caricatura del relativo videoclip.
Capostipite dell’operazione più celebre del gruppo, denominata “Tormentone Project”, è il videoclip “Parlami d’amore remix”, rivisitazione in chiave ironica (e un po’ spinta) del quasi omonimo brano dei salentini Negramaro, cliccatissimo su Youtube e seguito dalle videoparodie di brani come “Cambio direzione” di Francesco Renga, “La glaciazione” dei Subsonica, “Ready set go!” dei Tokio Hotel, per citare soltanto le prime.
I brani riscuotono grandissimo successo sul web ed arrivano dopo breve tempo alle orecchie dei dj Albertino, Digei Angelo e Roberto Ferrari, che li inseriscono uno dopo l’altro all’interno della programmazione dello show radiofonico “Sciambola!” in onda su Radio Deejay.
Parallelamente alla consacrazione radiofonica arriva il riconoscimento da parte degli stessi artisti presi di mira dalla band, che uno dopo l’altro citano le parodie dei Fratelli Sberlicchio all’interno dei propri siti web, myspace ed interviste varie.
A marzo 2008, grazie alla reinterpretazione del brano sanremese “Il mio amico” di Anna Tatangelo arriva anche la partecipazione alla trasmissione televisiva “Quelli che il calcio”, condotta da Simona Ventura.
I primi mesi del 2009 vedono gli Sberlicchio dividersi tra le trasmissioni “Community” (All Music) e “Quelli che il calcio” (Rai2) e le frequenze di Radio Deejay, che ospitano il loro ormai celebre “Festival del Tarocco”: operazione che, durante la settiamana del Festival di Sanremo, vede la band impegnata nella caricatura dei più meritevoli brani in concorso alla kermesse.
La storia dei Fratelli Sberlicchio ha le sue radici nel lontano 1998, anno in cui il gruppo prende vita ed in cui l’ronia è già ben marcata all’interno delle sue prime sperimentazioni, restando il filo conduttore caratterizzante ogni tappa dell’evoluzione della band.
Durante il loro percorso i Fratelli Sberlicchio realizzano tre dischi: “Mucche pazze” (2001), “Discodelirio” (2005) e “Mesh-Up” (2007) e portano il proprio esilarante show in giro per tutta la penisola.
ENG - Pop desecrators, heroes of the parody videoclips, super-hits gibers, Sanremo songs fakers: the artistic path walked by Fratelli Sberlicchio from Turin has always been devoted to irony and irreverence.
Peculiar feature of the band is the swiftness of the production of its parodies, launched almost at the same time as the songs object of its attacks and usually matched to the caricature of the related video.
The founder of the band’s most famous operation, named “Tormentone Project”, is the videoclip “Parlami d’amore remix”, ironic (and pretty daring) revisitation of the original song by Negramaro. The video, massively clicked on Youtube, has been followed by the video parody of songs such as “Cambio direzione” by Francesco Renga, “La glaciazione” by Subsonica, “Ready, set, go!” by Tokio Hotel just to cite some.
The songs, getting big success on the web, are soon noticed by the djs Albertino, Digei Angelo and Roberto Ferrari who played them in their radio show “Sciambola!” on Radio Deejay.
Together with the radio consecration, Fratelli Sberlicchio get the recognition by the artists object of their parodies who, one after the other, cite them on their websites, Myspace pages and various interviews.
In March 2008, thanks to the reinterpretation of “Il mio amico”, previously performed by Anna Tatangelo at Festival di Sanremo, Fratelli Sberlicchio take part to the tv programme “Quelli che il calcio” with Simona Ventura.
In the first months of 2009 Fratelli Sberlicchio take part in the tv programs “Community” (All Music) and “Quelli che il calcio” (Rai2), while their famous "Festival Del Tarocco" is broadcasted on Radio Deejay's frequencies. This engagement takes up the band in making the parody of the most fortunate songs competing in the "Festival Di Sanremo".
The story of Fratelli Sberlicchio has its roots in far 1998, year wich gave birth to the band. The irony was already evident in the band’s first sperimentations, remaining the leading feature of its evolution.
Along their way Fratelli Sberlicchio have realized three albums: “Mucche pazze” (2001), “Discodelirio” (2005) and “Mesh-up” (2007). Now they keep on carrying their hilarious show across Italy.
