FRANK CASTLE GONNA BREAK YOUR NECK! are the pioneers of political thrash straight outta Moscow, Russia!
The band plays angry, hateful and fucked up music mainly influenced by old time Boston hxc (like Negative FX, SSD, DYS, F.U.’s) and classic European thrashcore (like Heresy, Ripcord, Negazione, 'Larm).
Yeah, and don’t forget about spreading the message, because without it - all this funky music is just another freakin rave party!
Our message is simple:
fuck in their ugly faces fascists of any types - homophobic and sexist idiots too , cops, sick government with its draft, taxes and laws, “hardcore” jocks, redneck idiots, PC-jugend, ignorant people, punk-rock purists and other pathetic suckers.
Some of us sxe, some not - we believe that nobody can be judged by the fact if he/she drinks or doesn't.
We don't support violent dances at hxc shows. Punk and hardcore for us is friendship and mutual support in the first place. But what mutual support can you talk about, when some idiot with inner complexes comes to a gig and kicks people in the back. There is a lot of real enemies around - go fight them, don't stab kids in the back, trying to look tough. Left those pathetic movies for the victims of MTV-core.
We used to set up all-ages, non-profit gigs in Moscow, which were free for anybody and also free of Nazis and jocks.
We also have our own small label called Boycott The Fencewalkers, that just released a benefit international compilation “PLANET OF FRIENDS” to collect money for a guy named Alem Assefa, who was badly crippled by Russian neo-nazis in Moscow just for being black. Check the blog for more info and support that dude! That’s what this punk shit about – not about spending money on generic tatoos and funny clothes.
You are intrigued by the name of the label? – well, it’s an interesting story. Right now (and since I remember myself) Russia has a very strong white-power movement, that gets stronger everyday.
People get killed in the broad day light, antifascist activists get tracked and knifed and shot, sometimes right at their own doors, while government doesn’t give a shit. At the same time too many of the cool “punk” and “hardcore” kids feel OK to hang out with people who share nazi-ideas, buy stuff from nazi-friendly labels and stores, go to their gigs and have them at their own gigs. We believe that the whole situation would be much better if instead of buying cool t-shirts, designing their myspace and writing on the blog how much they hate “homophobes, racists etc” people would really stop being spineless sluts. And finally stop compromising with their "good ol' buddies"'s fascist beliefs. And, please, take your excuses about “old friends”, “goin to shows just for the music”, “the only place to buy clothes” etc and shove it right up your gaping hole! We’d rather not playing shows at all then playing for you and with you. Choose your fuckin side, son!
