I Was born in L’Aquila, Italy (tearfully famous city in all over the world, currently, with the earthquake of the 6th April 2009, that I have gone through, unfortunately, suffering grievous losses).

I began to strum the guitar when I was 13 (a cheap “Ghibli”, in imitation of Stratocaster), playing various easy songs.

When I Was a teenager, I fell in love with Heavy Metal and I began to play the bass, really influenced by Steve Harris (Iron Maiden’s bass player…by that time, a true idol for me). So, I formed my first band: the “Inner Machine”, by which, we played some songs of the Iron Maiden, Metallica and other bands (objectively, we didn’t work so properly, but as novices as we was…we was good!).

As usual as a bass player, I played in some different bands. An important experience, for me, between 2000 and 2002, was to play for the “Coffee Shower” (enough famous band in the melodic-hardcore’s European underground), thanks to, I got my first experience in a recording studio, taping the demo “A Product For The Youth Development” (collectible one, at present, between the fans of the melodic - hardcore’s Italian underground). As well, the band gave me the possibility to play in many live shows around Italy.

Thanks to that experience, I was introduced to meet Domenico Pulsinelli, sound engineer and teacher of sound engineering. Later, I directed myself to Him to record my first (and unique at the moment…but just for short!) solo album “Wastelands” (2003): something between Gothic, symphonic, 80’s. In this album I sing and, practically, I play all instruments.

During the end of the same one year, I enrolled in SE (Sound Engineering), a training course to form professional sound engineering, unfolded in Pescara, taught by Domenico Pulsinelli and Francesco Di Sipio.

In the matter of music, I can say that I have played (and playing now) more disparate things. I was bassist/singer in “Dog Face Boys” (Motorhead tribute band); guitarist in the “Angainor” (heavy metal band) and in “Hellrider” (Judas Priest tribute band), and I have cooperated with a lot of bands. Lately, I also was playing the guitar in “Skeletons Of Society” (Slayer tribute band), but the earthquake, unfortunately, has dislocated us.

NOTE: despite a lot of metal experiences, I don’t ABSOLUTELY define myself as a “metaller/metalhead”. I prefer to consider myself, simply, as a true lover of music.

Presently, I play the guitar in a Jazz/folk acoustic duo with Stefano Francazio (Excellent bass player and a good friend). In this project we mix some elements of Gypsy Jazz, Progressive and Folk. About this, I’m producing and recording a solo album.

Featuring Stefano Francazio, I’m composing and recording an experimental project, that I can definite (It’s so particular…but I can’t find other definitions at the moment) as something as “Freak/Fusion/Progressive Metal”. This project is certainly the most crazy musical thing that I have conceived in my life.

Moreover, I’m working to a second solo album (self production), totally different from the first (this one will be instrumental, and will interchange very “heavy” moments and melodic atmospheres). In this album, like the first, I will be the “one man band”.

Finally, I sporadically work on another experimental project, in witch, I use acoustic guitars all, playing in the many funny/particular stiles. About this, You can see an audio/video sample on this site.

Recently, is born a free collaboration with Angelo Scogno (singer, pianist, sound engineer, composer and virtual orchestrator). In this project We enjoy ourselves to perform our favourite hits only using an acoustic guitar (me) and voice (Him), but with a lot of takes…very particular (You can listen to a song on this site).

Besides, I dedicate myself to the different and occasional works in the world of music, as composer, sound engineer and arranger.
