Dear peers, friends, community, respected officials, scenesters, elders, etc.
We are The City Walls, an "indie pop" (but really, what does that mean anyways?) band from the San Francisco Bay Area, although now we are engaging in the San Diego area. Because, let's be honest, it's a great city.
Just recently we finished working with producer Masaki Liu on our debut EP called "Steps and Strides EP", available on iTunes, Amazon MP3, and our webstore (thecitywalls.bigcartel.com). Buy it, pass it around, take a listen, leave it in your car for a year, scrape your windshield with it in the winter, use it as a coaster or a mirror, HOWEVER our CD can serve you is fine by us. Though, may I suggest that it is intended to be listened to and our hope is that you will give it a try at least once.
It has been our privilege to play alongside talents such as Dizzy Balloon, Bird by Bird (Jonathan Devoto from The Matches), Ben Flanagan from The Trophy Fire, Jaymes Reunion with many more, and even more soon to come.
