FP, as a name stands for many things; he’s known as the Funky Poet for his fresh philosophy, as the Flow Provider, full precision at fascinating performances, or fucking police and fighting poverty. Whatever it is that FP stands for on a given day, it’s assured that he stands against the commercialisation and decline of hip hop music. Growing up listening to a mix of old and new school hip hop, his style evolved with a range of influences from A Tribe Called Quest to MF Doom. Only 22 years old, FP has already made a name for himself as one of Europe’s most talented up and coming lyricists, moving crowds from London to Paris to Amsterdam with his unmistakable baritone pitch as the frontline MC of international hip hop crew ASM. Considering his age, FP’s musical output is nothing short of astounding, having featured on virtually every ASM track to have seen the light of day, as well as features with Wax Tailor, Sadat X, Wildchild, Warrior Queen, Bonobo, KidKanevil, DJ Vadim, Voice, Demograffics, Mattic, La Fine Equipe, 6ix Toys Skrein and many more. Consistently coming through with innovative experiments in flows and patterns, such as his infamous quadruple double style, FP holds the torch for the new generation of rappers who still deserve the title of MC, and who live hip hop in its original form!!
