to zespól z ciekawym pomysłem na muzykę. Rockowo - metalowe brzmienie z dynamicznymi rytmami i melodyjnymi solówkami wprost idealnie wpasowało się w docelowy przekaz. A nie jest on banalny. Grupa w większości przypadków czerpie teksty z bogatej twórczości poetów tworzących w okresie II wojny światowej.
Historia z tego okresu jest jedynym motywem ich twórczości.

The band FORTRESS



first appeared in 2005, and it was formed by its four current members: Norga (vocalist), Siano (guitar), David (bass), and Mark (percussion). The collection of songs here presented was created and actually produced in a home-like setting. This arrangement of music reflects a patriotic theme, and specifically captures the World War II Period. Lyrics include verses from the respected Polish writer W. Broniewski, and other artists, and there is also some original text from the members of the band. FORTRESS has dedicated this collection of music to their valiant forefathers who so bravely fought for Polish liberty, but whose heroic deeds are increasingly being forgotten. The release of this musical score is designed to pay homage to previous patriots who sacrificed so much for the cause of freedoma freedom that was priceless only 20 years ago, but which is today barely appreciated by current generations who are preoccupied with making money and building personal careers. Thus this composition of songs by FORTRESS is their way of reminding people of the bravery and sacrifice of so many Polish brethren, and the bands aim in attempting to keep patriotic memories alive. And despite the barbarity that accompanied World War II, the period was significant for identifying heroic deeds. They believe it is important to remind future generations of the human qualities reflecting valor and sacrifice, and it is the memories from that time period that will hopefully guarantee such horrible things from happening again.
