Formatic are siblings Kate and Nik Hodges from north London, England.



Formatic's sound is a hybrid of electro beats and melodic songwriting, mixing the better elements of early synth pop with modern techniques. Electro for people who like good songs if you will.

After signing to MCS music on a publishing/development deal, their debut single 'Over To You' was released on limited white label, reaching no8 in the club chart. It was the highest placed white label on the chart for ten weeks running.

This started the band's profile rising with TV and radio airplay - most notably penning the theme track to the VH1/MTV series BSTV, and Channel 4's 'Sugar Rush', as well as inclusion on the acclaimed Electro album 'Robopop - The Return' with their follow up single 'State Of Play' - another club favourite. After a lengthy break concentrating on solo projects, the duo are now back with new material surfacing shortly.
