For Heaven's Sake is a young, passional band from the South of Germany.

In January 2004 Thomas and Sinan started as a guitar-project when both decided after a punkrock show to practice together and play more metal-influenced riffings without losing the emotional aspects.

Influenced by some of their favourite bands like Hopesfall, Rufio and Strung Out, they wrote some songs and played to their friends.

After a few months both more and more realized that there was capability in this project.

So they started to look for other musicians and found Eric, Thomas´ schoolmate, and Robin, a friend of Sinan.

Weeks later Robin told the band that he would know a good singer.

So Raphael completed the search for bandmates and For Heaven's Sake started their first bandpractice in August 2004.



One month later For Heaven's Sake went to record their first demo "An Upright Bequest"

which included their first 6 songs and one instrumental.

So they had the chance to play several shows with bands like Madball, Days In Grief, The Promise, PTTR, Solid Ground, Crisis Never Ends and more.



In Summer 2005 they deciced to record their newest stuff ("Two Ways To Leave This Town").

So they met Philip Seidl in November (Flyswatter, Cashless, The Blackout Argument) and recorded their two songs "Straightjacket" and "Repay The Debt", followed by more shows and a short tour with munich's The Blackout Argument.



At the end of 2006 it was again recording time for the band.

FHS visited Rape of Harmonies in Triptis (Heaven Shall Burn, Maroon, Narziss.) and recorded their upcoming EP "in comort of compassion".

6 energetic emotional metalcore songs which will be released on September 15th through HEARTBEATMEDIA.



Recent times haven't been easy for the band. After a break because of Eric's and Thomas' schoolexams Sinan decides to leave the band because of personal reasons.

But the band does not hang its heads. After several castings Mischi is found. He completes the 5-piece perfectly and arouses their hunger to burn down stages again.



For Heaven's Sake's lyrics are mostly written by Raphael and are about friendship, coherence, personal sacrifice, romance and social matters.

Their intense live appearance has become one trademark of the band.

You will never see them stand still for more than 10 seconds.

Some people compare For Heaven's Sake with Death By Stereo, some with Atreyu-Stuff.
