"I'm as jaded as a church and holy as a liquor store."
Wanderer
Under the alias of Foreverinmotion, Brendon Thomas has written some of the most visceral and sweetly ironic lyrics of his career. Born and raised in Vermont, Thomas is a kind-eyed, scruff-faced rocker dude who found a niche in the acoustic genre. Weaving folk, blues, and country influences, his new album Sunrise is like a highway ride; a trip intro open spaces. "The sun had set on a lot of things in my life when I began writing this record; the end of a relationship, the parting with my label. There was a huge void that I could fill with newness. Themes of travel and soul searching are all over this thing."
After amicably parting ways with One Eleven Records in 2009, Thomas found himself a new home in New York City, and it was there he penned the aforementioned Sunrise LP, which he independently released on the Forest Park Recordings collective (and home to his other band, folk trio The End of America). Foreverinmotion was a finalist in the prestigious 2010 NYC Songcircle Songwriter's Contest for Pulling Away.
