Force Fed have been around Austin since the late 80's in various forms and names. They settled on the name Force Fed in 1990 ( a tribute to their favorite band Prongs stellar second album). The main force's behind Force Fed were bestfriends Scott and Brett, when Brett was killed by a drunk driver in 1991 Scott decided heavyheartedly to carry on with Force Fed. In 1994 Scott joined Houston underground legends Deadhorse, Pete played with himself and got drunk, Lance got married and became a chicken rancher, Matt became a Geology Professor. We've taken some time off to do other bands, go to college, get married, have kids etc. Fast forward to August 2005. We've played our first show in more than 8 years with a new singer, Steve Richter. We're currently writing new material to mix with some of our classics. And the same holds true now as it did when we first started, Force Fed sounds like no other band in Austin and that a good thing.
