California Benzo!

Beni a.k.a. Benzo was born in a small town called Tracy, Ca. but he was seasoned in the streets of Oakland, Ca. the heart of the Bay Area’s Hip Hop scene. Raised amongst many aspiring artists, Benzo embraced the sounds and the lifestyle of the rap game. When people think of Oakland, they usually remember “The Hyphy” movement, but like many other artists in the Bay Area, he was drawn to the hardcore lyrical sounds of the East Coast. Befittingly enough, “Only Thing that Counts” the first single off of his street album dropping Fall 2010 features Philadelphia’s finest Freeway. This D-Boy anthem will keep the streets buzzing and the hustlers grinding.
With Benzo’s campaign underway, “Only Thing that Counts” featuring Freeway, is just an opening act, for the main event Benzo – "Kicking Game" LP. With Beni’s talent and ambition he will one day wear the crown as one of Hip Hop’s greatest Latin rappers.
