FOOT PRINTS is a once a month deejay & live music event held inside the backroom of the RIVOLI concert venue in downtown Toronto.



As a 4 person artist, promotions & deejay collective, they bring a mix of slightly left-of-center party rocking music to the Toronto underground each and every month. Focusing primarily on polyrhythmic, funky, soulful and rhythmically challenging beats both new and old. You're likely to hear everything from Jazz, Funk, Soul, Latin, Afrobeat to Rock, Electro, Disco and Ska when you're at one of their parties.



With over 6 years of events and virtually limitless in style and genre, they are considered by many to be Toronto's premiere open format deejay event.

JASON PALMA



A well known figure in the Toronto scene, Palma brings over 15 years experience deejaying a wide variety of music; from latin, soul, classic house, funk, hip hop to brasilian samba & afrobeat. As one of the first architects of Toronto's early Acid Jazz, Deep House and Funk scenes, his skill at mixing records that would appear to be 'unmixable' has placed him in constant demand over the course of his career, while also making him one of the most beloved DJs in the T-dot!



GENERAL ECLECTIC



A man with no limit of passion and knowledge when it comes to nearly all types of music. General Eclectic displays his skills on the decks with heart and intensity each and every Foot Prints party. His meticulous attention to detail when mixing records and his instinctive ability to effortlessly flow between genres has won him a large following of music heads and dancefloor junkies. Having been known to play just about anything in his sets, his style is hard to categorize but impossible to refuse.



DJ STU(aka BASICSOULUNIT)



Stuart is a man of many different guises, having his hand in a number of Toronto's exciting underground scenes. Many know him as his famous alter ego "Basic Soul Unit", under which he crafts deftly unique Techno inspired soulful music - winning him critical acclaim both here at home and abroad. Stu brings his knowledge of Techno, Classic House, Garage and Disco to the Foot Prints people each month, proving an invaluble asset for keeping that steady pace and firing up the dancefloor like no other deejay in Toronto.



LYBIDO



One part Dancer, one part Promoter and one part Host; Lybido plays a key role within the Foot Prints crew.

Many know him both at home and abroad for his utterly amazing b-boy skills and unpredictable and unique dancing style. He's been at the epicenter of Toronto's underground dance community for nearly 10 years and is regarded as one of the cities finest overall dancers(having worked with such notable acts as K-OS & The Salads).

But few realize the hard work and passion he puts into each and every Foot Prints, where his charisma and charm has made a huge impact on the overall vibe of each event. It is safe to say that Foot Prints would not be the same without his hardwork and constant positive energy.



'THE SEEN'



Those who've been to a Foot Prints party know that they are not just about the music, but take it one step further in adding a unique visual appeal to their parties with the use of new and vintage one-of-a-kind video and film projections(implementing old 35mm projectors, banners, digital equipment and clever lighting).
