Mary Youngblood is a grammy award winning native american flutist and an accomplished singer, musician and song writer/composer. Long Road is a beautiful flute story of love and devotion.  Mary is half Seminole and half Aleut.  She lives in Fair Oaks, California. Mary conducts Native American Flute workshops in Auburn California every month.

Lawrence Laughing is Mohawk and lives in Nevada City, California. Lawrence is a traditional Mohawk singer and exclusively sings in his 
native tongue.

"IVA" is sung by Timo Cano . Timo wrote this song about Jim Thorpe who was married to his lovely wife "Iva". Timo lives in Los Angeles and he is Apache and Yaqui. He is a jazz and rock musician.
Jim Thorpe was considered one of the most versatile native american athletes of modern sports. He won Olympic gold medals for the 1912 pentathlon and decathlon, played American football (collegiate and professional), and also played professional baseball.

Precious Mothers sung by Teresa Bear Fox expresses the ultimate feelings of the native people concerning mother earth and also relates the family ties of the native people.  Teresa Bear Fox lives in upstate New York.  Bear is Mohawk and mixes English and Mohawk in her lyrics. She writes her own music.
