Flip side Recordz was founded and established in 1996 as an independent record label based in Toronto, Canada, by 26 year old Jason (Kiss A.K.A I1/Mr Flip Side) Mc Lean. Then came to life in 1999 at his home town at the time, B-Town, with the help of family, and his own drive to team up with some of music influences of his time to the present moment under one brand.
Now 2008, nine years later, the record label is still standing strong (Flip Side Up!!). Flip Side Recordz is not a new movement, but been moving and envisioning our future outside the box with acts such as: Infamous Denny, J.O.G, Problem, Famous Andrew, Taikwon, Kiss A.K.A I1/Mr Flip Side and much more. Working alongside a strong production company by the name of Beat Makers Pro. along with a newly signed licensing deal with Saquan Entertainment Inc. for album titles such as "Living To Die", "Me Vs U/I Came In" And with "Relentless," all nearing due date releases. Flip Side Recordz, along with its roster is sure to make its mark in the world of music and business.
With our music and artistic balance, our sole purpose is to provide young talented artists who lack the understanding of proper business strategy and practice, with a means to display their craft.

Flip Side Recordz is not the average recording company. When the company was first established we were simply musicians, producers and promoters, but through our work with companies such as The 410-Rock Entertainment Service Line, M.O.V.E.ntertainment, Rap-A-Lot Records and It’s Your Time Toronto Magazine. W,e have become more of a professional business media label, and we have also broadened our horizons by affiliating ourselves with the field of marketing as well as collaborating our talents to create the finest promotional network that Toronto has to offer. With the help of an effective street team, which consists of young, enterprising individuals such as yourselves, we can ensure that by provide these opportunities, we are making sure the people within our own communities do not waste their potential.
