The band started in December 2002, with a formation of 4, wich were 2 guitarrists (Rik and JP), bassist (Pedro) and drummer (Bernardo).
In those days, the band was more interested in having a good time while playing together, and evolving as musicians. We tried to play some covers of bands in the early months, but our common goal soon became making originals.
At that time, a vocalist was needed and we invited a friend, David, for that "job". After that, we composed some songs, and recorded our first demo. Also, we had our first gigs.
In March 2005, David left the band, and we started looking for a new vocals, someone who would add extra quality and passion to the band. After some auditions, Gito joined the band.
In the Summer of the same year, Pedro also felt he had to leave, and was replaced by bassist Tiago, after some auditions. Since then the band's been rehearsing like hell, composing new songs, and we ended up in 2005 recording our demo "Garage 2006".
After that, we sent the demo to our friend Allen, in the US, and he mixed it up nicely and gave our demo it's final format. Currently, the band is receiving some good feedback from listeners.
We were selected for ContrabandIST 2006, and ended up winning the contest, and got the chance to play with some famous bands it Super Arraial do IST, like EasyWay, EZ Special and Toranja. We also got some invitations to play in several places troughout Portugal.
Right now, Fleuma is preparing to record a video of one of our new songs, "Subbtle hipnotic". It should be out in a few months.
We also are looking for a midi keyboard player to join the band. That person, if everything goes well, should soon be our friend Al (Pedro), who played with us in Super Arraial do IST. Stay tunned.
