HARD WORK! That is the reputation FLASHY has developed. And not by coincidence, Hard Work is also the name of his Entertainment Company. Claiming all of South Jersey as his domain, Flashy is poised to rep for his hood and “make a stand in this game” Though most people get the name Flashy confused with simply meaning “fly” and “flossin,” for Flashy it is all about his demeanor; not just his look!

For twelve years Flashy was on his grind, touring with the “Lyricist Lounge,” the famed quartet Boyz II Men and had even landed a single deal with Elecktra Records when he was part of a rap group. Unfortunately, the deal was pulled off the table when his rap partner was sent to prison for 30 years to life, but that did not hender Flashy from pursuing his dream. After pairing with “Set Free,” the And 1 mix-tape creator and his partner Rick Clarke, Flashy got his first real shot as a solo artist when Steve Rifkind, CEO of SRC Records, heard his music. Although on SRC’s roster for two years, Flashy saw no release date in sight for his single. It was during this waiting period Flashy was introduced to Amilah Dean of Ruff Ryders Records who arranged a meeting between Flashy and DEE (CEO of Ruff Ryders) outside the Harlem based Magic Johnson Movie Theater. Flashy spit two 16s for DEE and the next day his management was contacted by Ruff Ryders.

After working out an amicable departure from SRC Records Flashy was welcomed into the Ruff Ryders fold. According to WAAH, (CEO of Ruff Ryders), “Flashy is every artist we had on our label wrapped up in one.” DEE calls Flashy “the Hit Maker.” The world got its first glimpse of this “hit maker” and ‘hard worker’ when Flashy appeared on the heavily watched reality TV show “Gotti's Way.” After discussions to do a Ruff Ryders/Murder Inc. deal broke down, WAAH took control of Flashy’s project. Proving true to his reputation for being a Hard Worker, Flashy has made Ruff Ryders his second home, cranking out nothing but hits.

Look for Flashy’s album entitled “Hard Work,” fall 2008. The album features collaborations with A-List artists, such as Akon, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Fat Joe and Styles P to name a few. It took nothing short of Hard Work for Flashy to get to this point in his career and his music reflects just that. “Hard Work” is filled with meaningful street classics as well as a variety of Top 40 Billboard bound hits sure to withstand the test of time because people who are accustomed to Hard Work – which actually represents the vast majority of the world – will connect with his long awaited debut album“Hard Work”.

Being the Hard Worker that he is, Flashy finds his greatest motivation in his kids, for they are the 1 reason why he puts Hard Work into everything he does. Ruff Ryders has already shown you through Dmx , The Lox and Eve “what the game’s been missing.” Now your about to witness history repeat itself through Flashy – the Hard Worker!
