Christmas 1998, Adam Bradbury then aged 15 was given a guitar as a present. January 1999 saw him begin guitar lessons and by Summer 1999 he had started his first band. "Outbreak" as they were then called consisted of Adam on guitar and two friends. Only ever getting as far as jamming in the loft "Outbreak" quickly disbanded and Adam started a new band with his brother Liam on bass. Under the name "The Edge" they played their first live show at Christmas 1999 to friends and family.

The coming of the Millennium saw Adam and Liam recruit their younger brother Ryan on drums. They played a few local shows with various 2nd guitarist and finally settled on Gaz Birch a friend they'd met from playing the local scene as Gaz was involved with other bands.

After playing up and down the country their break came in the most unlikely of places, a small pub in the middle of Newton. They were quickly signed up by ETM management and from there they changed their name to "SKECHER".

Skecher toured extensively throughout 2001 to 2003 playing on the Golf records tour supporting such bands as; The Matches, 4ft Fingers, Tuuli, Tat, Uncle Brian, Tiny Elvis and many more top underground bands. In July 2003 they stepped out onto the biggest stage of their lives, supporting BRYAN ADAMS at The KC Stadium and The Britannia Stadium. BBC radio stations up and down the UK saw the band perform acoustic sets and give interviews and later the BBC and ITV news got involved and did features on the band. They earned sponsorship deals with FENDER guitars and amplifiers and BERNYS clothing line.

In 2004, due to creative differences, Adam, Liam and Ryan decided to split from their management. Gaz stayed on to become a session musician, while the three Bradbury brothers formed the band FIVE-OS!!

2005 saw the bands first release as a split EP with friends Smudge. The "broken hearts and new starts" EP sold out and a tour quickly followed. Over the years the three brothers continued to tour and record and release music. Adam sessioned for various bands, notably a UK Metal band called SOON TO BE SEPTEMBER, who where on the metal scene with Bring Me The Horizon and Penknife Lovelife. Liam and Ryan began writing comedy rap music under the name The BLT Crew. In May 2008 Five-Os played one final tour supporting ex Gratitude; Jonah Matranga and Attention.

After many highs and equally as many lows the brothers left the band on a high note, going their separate ways. Adam joined a band called SNAKES HATE FIRE who signed with Virgin Records Management and toured the UK and Ireland, recording with top UK producers and appearing in Kerrang magazine as well as many other popular music publications. Liam began working on orchestrations, writing music for many Computer Games and Independent movies and writing songs for his band The BLT Crew. Ryan moved to Jersey after playing drums for local band Krazy 88. He eventually returned to England and is now playing drums for EIGHTHWAVE as well as writing music for The BLT Crew.

During his time in bands Adam had learned a lot on the sound engineering, music promotion and management side of things and is now a respected sound engineer working regularly at The Tavern, Wigan and other local venues. He also hires out PA systems and Tour Manages having experience working for EMI Records. He owns and runs a small record label called "AW WHAT RECORDS" and manages bands.
