Aside from his intergalactic and amphibian origins (ed. note - he's a frog from outer space raised as a human on the island of Barbados), Fitzroy's tale is relatively straightforward - one fraught with love, loss, and thankfully, rebirth.

These themes run through the heart of the debut album "Paradise Low", an LP forged in bedrooms across Miami and in Barbados with a sound that defies classification; Island-brewed soul? Caribbean dub/funk spliced with hip-hop? No matter. Through songs such as "Can't Keep Waiting" and "When The Ground Falls.", "Paradise Low" speaks to the painful, but ultimately liberating renewal that occurs when one lets go of earthly, limiting attachments that hinder one's ability to touch the stars, in order to dive into the universe inside of ourselves and harness the magic it generates. There's also some swordfighting involved; soundclashes too.
