Starting from an early age Finga was inspired by listening to his older brothers dj recordings. Finga was fascinated by djing and decided from this tender age that he wanted to be part of the music industry.
Finga started his music career in 1992 at the tender age of 12 with the street sound Out Law Djing. The sound created a storm on the London party scene. This then progressed on to Out Law head lining under 18 events in London. In 1994 Out Law hosted guess slots on Power Jam radio station. This created a buzz within the young street sound which got Out Law a regular slot on the renowned radio station Bass line fm in1997.
In 1999 Finga took time out from djing to focus on producing. During this time Finga purchased his 1st studio and started to learn how to create house and garage music. In 2002 Finga released his 1st independent house and garage track. During this time Finga co produced 'Armegedone' with F1 Dubs which got released on south side recordings.
In 2004 Finga started working with his school friend Tadow and created SFR. This was a community based project focusing on creating a base for street youth to go and have a creative out let. The studio was also used as a base to create a combination CD called 'breaking the box' featuring artists such as, So Solid, Asha D, Face, Big Brother, Tower T and A+L which was hosted by radio 1Extras dj Gmoney.
In 2004 Finga, O.b and Tadow were all individually creating music and decided in 2005 to collectively come together and create invasion records.
Finga then went on to produce club banging tracks such as 'take over','the print', 'gimme dat' and 'hips'. These tunes created a storm on the funky house scene so much so it opened the doors for Finga to work with major record labels such as Ministry of Sound, Warner Brothers and sony. Finga's renowned club banger tracks has been on compilations such as Pure Funky House, Rinse, This is UK Funky.
In 2008 Finga returned to djing and secured a regular weekly spot on UK's biggest underground radio station www.rinse.fm every Tuesday 3-5pm GMT.
Finga currently plays regular slots in clubs throughout the UK and Europe.
