SIX FEET UNDER, ILLDISPOSED, FINAL BREATH + Supports

08. Dezember 2009, Würzburg - Posthalle

(VVK an allen bekannten Vorverkaufstellen!)

Weitere Live Shows sind bereits in Planung!

Discography

1993 - 1995: Founding and Demo-Disc "Soulchange"

Final Breath was founded in the year of 1993. At the very beginning only cover versions of tracks done by renowned metal bands were created, but later on, in 1994, Final Breath decided to personalise their style and incorporated their own ideas into their songs - Soulchange came into existence.

1995 - 1997: Own Mini CD "End Of It All"

The band collected their first experiences through Gigs and various Demo-reviews. The subsequently written material was brought to CD with improved sound quality - in 1997 and created quite a few ripples in the german underground music scene. The five tracks from the MCD End of it all sported a very felicitous mixture of Death, Thrash and Melody.

1997 - 2000: Debut-CD "Flash-Burnt Crucifixes"

For Final Breath still hasn't found a fitting label as of 1997, they decided to yet again visit a studio. In order to conjure appropirate and forceful sounds for the uncompromising and unyielding songs Andy Classen operated the controls of the Stage-One-Studios. The results convinced Gutter Rec. (a division of Massacre Rec.) to licence the materials and publish them in the year of 2000. Songs like Exposed to hatred, Sopiopathically Insane and Going Hellbound show that Thrash-Metal is all but dead. Final Breath created 10 songs full of energy and power and still left room enough for melody and innovations!

2000 - 2002: The second album, "Mind Explosion"

The band detached from Gutter Rec in mutual consent. Yet again they went to the Stage-One-Studio and paid it out of their own pockets. The recordings for the second studio album were not without problems, either: First, Michael Imhof left the group; though replacement was rounded up quickly: Jürgen Aumann was to be the new lead singer of Final Breath and brought prior aquired experience from Bands like Soul Demise and Violation. With the results of their work Final Breath went on search for another label and found a home with Nuclear Blast! The disc was released in the August of 2002. Mind Explosion feels both more aggressive, death metal-like (last but not least for the new cast at the microphone) and more balanced, advanced and varied than previous releases.

2002 - 2004: Make it or break it? Album 3 "Let Me Be Your Tank"

The contract with Nuclear Blast ran out and was not to be extended. For the third time in their existence Final Breath was without financial support by a publisher. That did not stop them, though, from visiting Stage-One-Studio yet again in order to record Let Me Be Your Tank. A saying states that the third album of a band is a major milestone in a band's development and decides over the rise and fall of the band. Make it or break it - as far as Final Breath is concerned: clearly Make it!. Let Me Be Your Tank shows a proper advancement in all concerns (Sound, Artwork, Songs, etc.). To the point: the name is program and at the same time a clear statement that Final Breath will not give in! The small but very dedicated record label Remedy Rec. (Hamburg) was quickly convinced and now takes care of the world-wide release in October 2004.
